Saline Area Social Service (SASS) is a private, tax-exempt non-profit organization that has been in the community for over 60 years. Our mission is to provide food, emergency aid, and support to those in need in the Saline community. We aim to build a stronger community of neighbors helping neighbors.

When you support SASS, you help families in Saline put nutritious food on the table, keep a roof over their heads and receive the support they need while facing financial hardship. We are a 100% community funded organization, and your gift is essential to sustain our mission.

Thu: 10 am – 12 pm
Please note: Our pantry will be closed for lunch from 12 pm to 1 pm.

We’re more than just a food pantry!
Introducing a new training program designed to help individuals and families move toward self-sufficiency. Training will focus on aspects of career searching, as well as microenterprise training for managing a small business. This program is open to anyone in the community.
November: Small Business Marketing Course
Join our 3-week Microenterprise Marketing Course and learn how to identify your ideal customer, create content that connects, and build a one-page website to showcase your business. Open to everyone in the Saline area. Please bring a laptop if you have one.
